Project Details

The City of St. Augustine, FL is advancing its Smart St. Augustine initiative, a transformative project recently awarded a U.S. Department of Transportation RAISE Grant. This initiative encompasses a citywide deployment of innovative transportation technologies, including smart parking solutions, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure enhancements, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, and other critical transportation improvements.

As part of this effort, KMB Design Group is proud to partner with Metric Engineering, providing expert consultation on EV product selection and leading the detailed engineering design for the city’s Electric Vehicle Charging Hubs. The project includes the deployment of 31 Level 2 dual-port chargers across 11 hub locations throughout the city, with the potential for future expansion to further support the city’s commitment to sustainable and intelligent transportation.
